FAQs
Please read below for some frequently asked questions.
What should I bring with me?
Your usual changing bag, a soft comfortable blanket to go on top of your mat!
Can I bring a partner, grandparent or friend with me?
Of course you can. I have space for you to bring one person with you, I just need to know in advance for risk assessment purposes.
What if I'm running late?
You can still attend, just slot in when you get here. If you know in advance you may be late, please drop me a message!
What if I don't know anybody?
You don't have to know anybody to join. It's a safe space to meet new mums and babies. Everyone is really welcoming.
Can I bring older children?
Our sessions are designed specifically for babies, with age appropriate equipment and a calm sensory environment. For safety, insurance, and to protect the experience for all attendees, older children aren’t able to attend as standard. In genuine emergency situations, this may be considered only with prior agreement.
Why is class size so limited?
Keeping class sizes small is important to me. Ensuring mums and babies don't feel overwhelmed and it stays a small, welcoming group.
Can I still attend if myself or my baby is poorly?
I kindly ask you to miss the session if yourself or your little one is poorly. Some babies can get quite ill from something so simple. If in doubt, pop me a message!
How long before a class can I arrive ?
The earliest you can arrive is 10 minutes before class is due to start.
Which class age is right for my baby?
Tiny Twinkles is perfect for 0-6 months, suitable from those very first moments. Twirly Twinkles is suitable from 6 months (sitting) all the way until they start cruising about! You're more than welcome to pop me a message if you're unsure.
Are these sessions book in advance or drop ins?
All sessions are bookable until 24 hours before.I offer block and PAYG. I don't offer walk in bookings.
What if my baby cries?
These sessions are baby-led, whatever your baby needs always comes first. Feed, change, comfort them -you will never interrupt anything - we've all been there!
I'm worried about joining in with singing, is this a must?
You don't have to join in with anything you don't feel comfortable with. Whilst singing to your baby is great for development, they will be able to listen to the group. My groups are zero pressure.
I'm feeling anxious about joining, this is my first group!
It's normal to feel anxious! Motherhood is anxiety inducing! You can take the sessions at yours and your babies own pace. You'll never face judgement. If there is anything I can do to help, just ask!
